JUMP FEST 2011 SECOND JUMP FEST OF 2011 - THIS MONDAY!We have a new fan page. Please like it here: AIRABOVEWATER WORLDWIDE Time: Monday (Labor Day), September 5 · 1:00pm - 7:00pm Location: FootBridge, Wilson River Whenever labor day comes around every year, I find my self sitting at home on the couch. NOT THIS YEAR! Let's have a Jump Fest and celebrate! We are going to hit the new bridge we found a few weeks back. It's called the FootBridge and it's located 30 miles past Banks on Hwy 6. Heres directions: Take HWY 26 West toward Beaverton. Stay on this for a long time. I didnt clock the milage on the stretch. Go all the way down until you see on your left HWY 6 Banks/Tillamook exit.Take that exit and as soon as you see the entering Banks sign, go 30 miles until you see the footbridge trail sign. Pull over and park on the right, walk along the cyclone fence inside the guardrail and there will be some stairs that take you right onto the footbridge! It's a 40ftr! Last time we were at this place, the sun was still baking on the bridge way after 7pm. We can jump till the cows come home and it's suppose to be in the 90's on this day! Please like it here: AIRABOVEWATER WORLDWIDE We are meeting up in Mosier at 11:00am. There is a small little jump site there. A little swimming hole with 10-20 foot cliffs. I haven't been there in a long time and the town of Mosier is a cool place for people - who have never been - to check out! After Mosier, we will continue on to Koberg beach for some bigger cliffs. After that we will go to Punchbowl for the monster of them all- 70ftr! Get lost, need help, wanna talk: CALL AAW @ 503-516-3797 Heres the directions to Mosier: From Portland , Oregon take I- 205 north to exit 22 (The Dalles). You are now on I-84 stay on this until the Mosier exit , about 5 miles past Hood River. Take the Mosier exit #69. Take a right and follow until you come to Washington St. take another right and then a left. Go up about 3/10 of a mile pull over and park on the side of the road. There will be a gaurd rail on the other side of the road. Hop over this and take the trail down to this beautiful, swimming-jumping hole. Heres the directions to Koberg: From Portland , Oregon take I- 205 north to exit 22 (The Dalles). You are now on I-84 stay on this until the Mosier exit , about 5 miles past Hood River. Take the Mosier exit #69. Take a left at stop sign , go back towards Hood River. You will see a sign for Koberg Beach State Park , take the next exit , it will say rest area. The jump heights for this massive rock go from 2ft to 150ft. Heres the directions to Punchbowl: From Portland, Oregon, take I-84 East to Hood River. Take exit 63 City Center. Take a right at light. Flashing red light-take another right. (you are now on Oak St.) Follow Oak St. to 13th St. and take a left at the light. Stay on this road, it will drop you off onto 12th (very winding road). Keep going until you hit Tucker road- take a left. You’ll go over a bridge (water below is Hood River. ( Jumpable? ) You’ll come to a “T” in the road-go to right towards Parkdale (DO NOT go to O’Dell). You’ll see sign Lost Lake & Dee – veer off to the right. Go over railroad tracks and bridge. Once over bridge follow road to right. Once on this road continue straight for one mile. Do not go to left to Green Rd, but go straight towards Punch Bowl. You’ll see a wide turnout spot on right. (about 1 mile after bridge.) Once you park, you’ll see a metal gate. Go over this gate and walk down the trail. The punch bowl is on your left. |
